I am blonde, light blonde...

...with a touch of silver. Or at least I was supposed to be. According to my hairstylist. It kinda turned out more brownish with a touch of orange.

It's actually not a bad color. Out in the daylight. In the house it just looks like this:

Guess I'll just have to stay out of the house. lol

I also got rid of most of my hair. Y'all remember what demon Meg looked like in season 1? Yep, that's the do.
Oh yeah, I'm getting ready for the con. lol

There once was a...

...video with both video and audio. I made it out of my VanCon 2010 photos and my photo ops and added Cold as ice and Without you to make it less, y'know, soundless. But it turned out that Foreigner is owned by WMG and YouTube disabled the audio part of it. So I removed Cold as ice and added Crazy love (yes, the version with Jensen) and uploaded that to YouTube. Luckily, Jason Manns isn't owned by WMG so I didn't have to change everything all over again. This version here is the third version. It has only my photos. No photo ops and no other people's songs. It is my attempt at avoiding copyright issues.
Mostly original version is still somewhere on YouTube, though.

I kinda really liked the first version. This is what was left of it.

I wish I was a professional photographer

So, there's this ad. Finally. There was absolutely nothing interesting in two and a half months. Unless I wanted to move, learn to drive in a week or go back to school again (y'know, ppl, I could photocopy stuff even if I wasn't a student). Where was I? New ad, interesting... Oh, yeah. I'm talking about portal article writing. (Is that even a word?) I mean, writing articles for portals. Or in this case, one specific portal. It opens its doors (pun intended) in the next month and will have articles about things that interest women. (Good thing I'm of the female persuasion then.)

Of course I could can write non-bitchy stuff. *huffs*

I actually like writing. Granted, I never wrote articles, but there's a first time for everything. (OK, that's bull. There are a lot of things I'd never do.) But I could definitely see myself as a part-time article writer.

Hmmm... Would a series of articles (with pictures!!!) about Jensen and Jared (and/or LAcon) be of some interest to women? Just a thought. (Yeah, yeah, I know I have a one-track mind. lol) Did I mention there would be pictures? :D

But actually, that's a good idea. I could write a series of bloglike articles for my blog. Something along the lines of:
-What to do at Pleso while waiting
-What to do at Munich airport during a 6-hour (OMG!!! 6 hours!!!) stopover
-How to survive a 12-hour flight (with pics of fugly airplane food)
-How to go to LA and see nothing but the hotel
etc.

Off to sell myself... I mean, write a cover letter.

About my profile pic...

Not my hair. And not my make up. And I usually don't look all that 'old photo'. But everything else, yeah, that's me. Probably. :p

LAcon: check

Obviously, I already have the most important things. Everything else is just icing on the cake. *nods*

Size 36, baby!

Yes, my new jeans do deserve a post of their own. *nods*

A year and a half ago I finally found a pair of jeans I actually liked. And then I went and lost all that weight (24 lb since May) and now I can't really wear them anymore. *is bummed* Especially when I'm flying because apparently:

(That's true, BTW.)

So I had to go and buy myself a new pair. (I really hate shopping.) It was doubtful if I'd actually find something. (I'm picky.) But I survived 5 hours of late night shopping (yay me) and came home with a pair I really, really liked the last time I was at Westgate (5 months ago) but couldn't buy because they were too long. Apparently, size does matter. Size 36 jeans are much shorter than whatever size I was before, so, y'know, all this weight loss worked quite nicely for me. :D

It's official...

I'm going to LA next month. :D

I had a really lousy end of the year. My parents had another one of their financial crises which of course meant no LAcon for me. Not that they said anything, but how could I spend my money on myself when they needed it. That, of course, made me really angry (seething's the word) because it's been like this since I can remember. Well, at least since I started working 12 years ago. 85% - 100% of my money always went to them. Which is OK, I don't need much. But when I have to give up probably the only thing I'm looking forward to because they couldn't make things better in over a decade... Yeah, I didn't take it well. So I tried to avoid anything Supernatural-related because it would just remind me of everything and that would make me angry all over again. But, of course, the more I tried to avoid thinking about the con, the more I thought about it. And boy, is being angry all the time exhausting. On the bright side, I did lose 10 lb. Turns out, when you're seething, you're just not that hungry.

In other (good) news... I managed to get a decentish plane ticket. I was worried that the price would be through the roof cause the con is in a month, but it was like half the price of what I paid when I was flying to Vancouver. And I bought that ticket months before VanCon. Go figure. The only problem is that I'll have to wait for 6 hours at the Munich airport. (Hence the ish part.) It was either 6 hrs or hour and a half, and since it's winter and there's always a possibility of snow, ice, fog... I just didn't want to risk it. This is the first time I won't be stopping over in Frankfurt, but that ticket was $300 more, so I figured, I can live with Munich.

I just don't know how I'm supposed to watch 100+ episodes of Supernatural in a month.
