New year, new profile pic

I had to change my profile pic (this one ). As much as I liked having green eyes, every time I saw that pic, it reminded me of the owner of that hair. And I gotta hand it to her. Jensen was my celebrity crush for 10 years and she managed to put me off him almost single-handedly. In a week. (It was something she did and said and it kinda snowballed from there.) Unfortunately for me, since Jensen is such a big part of cons and Supernatural, she also put me off cons and SPN. And that sucks. Big time. :( And now I'm stuck being a fan of the show I can't watch and will, basically, have to fly to the other side of the world for a guy I can barely look at right now. I can't help it, I get disappointed in someone and that's all she wrote. :(



Now excuse me while I go and unclench my jaw. Didn't even realize I was clenching it while I was writing this. And clenching my jaw is something I never do. TG for that, cause that shit hurts. Ouch!

How did THAT happen? o.0

I has a new profile pic.  

And as usual, that's mostly me.

So, how DID that happen? Well... I was bored. And I have a Taaz account. And I wanted to see what color lipstick to buy. And one thing led to another and before I even realized it, I was trying on somebody's hair and fine tuning my makeup to go with the color of the said hair, cause the do's good, but I'm way too pale for that color. I needed to make my face less natural ivory, so I slapped some ivory beige foundation on it. (Anything darker would've been a serious overkill.) And yadda yadda yadda, I have green eyes now.

But even though I tried to match the makeup to the hair, I still couldn't really pull it off, so I did the next best thing. I turned the original color to strawberry blond. So much better.  


BTW, I did find a great lipstick. NARS, Porte Vecchio. And yes, it can't be bought in my country.

Supernatural conventions - Google me this

As far as I know, this is the only blog that's all about Supernatural conventions, but if you try googling (or yahooing) 'blog + Supernatural conventions' you won't find it. At least not on the first 10 pages. And who would wanna go further than that?
You'll find websites and a few blogs with a post or two about conventions and that's it. I'm kinda starting to think my SEO skills suck. Slow on the uptake much?

Apparently, my laid-back approach to blogging only (OK, mostly) brings people who for some reason google Clif Kosterman. That baffles me. Why would anyone google Clif? But fine, to each his (or in this case more probably her) own.

So, I'm going proactive.

I "strategically placed" a few 'supernatural conventions' throughout my blog. And I finally went through the chaos that were my labels. They really were no help at all. So I changed a few and added a few. And by a few I mean a lot.

I might even start leaving comments on other people's blogs. o_O

I do, however, refuse to put words 'supernatural convention' in every post title. I like my titles and how at first glance they might seem like they have nothing to do with the post. That's not true. It's just that, sometimes you have to take a better look.

Uhm... This title being the exception.

Sept 17 - Yahoo moved me to page 3. Google's still ignoring me. No wonder I never google stuff, I always yahoo them.

Sept 20 - Page 1, baby! But probably only because Google is mentioned in the title.

Not my hair. And not my make up. And I usually don't look all that 'old photo'. But everything else, yeah, that's me. Probably. :p
