Welcome baby boy Padalecki!

Padababy is finally here. :)
Congrats to the happy (and probably exhausted) parents. Fandom is ridiculously excited.

Someone said on Twitter that we feel like proud aunts and uncles. And that actually sums it up nicely. Because this fandom, I don't think there's another fandom quite like ours. When it counts, we aren't SPN fandom, we are SPN family.
And we are truly happy for Genevieve and Jared like we would be if a member of our family gave birth. In my case, I can't even say that's surprising. After all, I see Jared more than I see some members of my own family. (And probably like him more, but don't tell them that.)

I wonder what they'll name him.

Yes, Genevieve is pregnant. Jared just tweeted that.

Looks like I was right. Hand on belly = a pregnant woman.
(If you want any more predictions, you'll have to wait until Oct 24, cause I'm psychic only every other Monday. *nods* Sorry. :D lol)

And now, on a completely selfish level *is ashamed*, I just hope D-day will be after LAcon or we just might end up with one (very important) guest less on the guest list. :(

I kinda hoped we'd finally see Genevieve on LAcon's guest list. Well, maybe in 2013, yeah?




ETA (Oct 8, 2012): Apparently, that screencap of Gen with her hand on her belly kinda got a life of its own. Which baffles me no end. It never occurred to me when I capped it that something like that could happen. Weird.

OK, damage control

First of all, who knew that so many ppl would read one of my posts? Usually only those who want photos and videos come here. So I'm mostly, y'know, shocked. But thank you for reading. :)

I'm talking about my post But to make a short story long Part deux.

I stumbled upon this one comment on LJ (spn_gossip comm). Title is Gen ignores fan LA con. And it kind of made me think that I probably chose the wrong words when I wrote that part of the post. I already added this to the original post, but I feel like I should say it again.

Genevieve didn't really ignore me. We said hi, she signed her name and then Jared told her something so she started talking to him. OK, so she didn't say bye or anything, but I'm not taking it personally. And I still like her. Like I said, if Jared wanted to talk to me, I'd forget about her too.

BTW, when I said I would ignore her too, it wasn't supposed to sound mean. Or childish and immature, as apparently it sounded to some ppl. I just meant, if Jared started talking to me, I would probably forget that there were ppl around me, too.

It was 5 am and I just wanted to finish the damn post and I obviously chose the wrong words. I definitely didn't mean to provide fuel for the haters. I actually like Genevieve and I think she's sweet. So there.



And on a more personal note, I don't have some unusual fascination with shoes. There are a lot of shoe pics in the post because I wanted photos that nobody saw before and I already posted everything else.

I know that most pics are really dark. (I didn't use flash because it was really dark in the theater and flash would probably bother everyone around me AND J&G.) I thought about brightening them up a bit, but decided to leave them as they are because they look better like this. But I did leave them bigger than the rest of the photos. And you can still see everything.
