I is shocked! Flabbergasted! Might have thud-ed when I found out! There are other Supernatural fans here in Croatia!!! And I don't mean those Yeah-I-watch-the-show-every-week fans. (I already knew there are six of those.) I mean, real fans. Those I'm-practicing-blue-steel-for-my-mugshots-cause-I'm-participating-in-GISHWHES-and-selling-my-kidney-to-go-to-cons fans. And yes, apparently, there are some of those out there. I'm so emotional right now I'm crying. And squeeing. OK, not really, no.
Call me, guys! Again, no, not really, cause I'm quite phonephobic. But let's create an FB page for the four of us, call it SPN Family - Croatia and pretend that SPN fandom in Cro is live and kicking. *thumbs up*

Supernatural won 2 PCAs!!!
Supernatural won 2 PCAs - Favorite TV Drama and Favorite SciFi/Fantasy!
I am not surprised at all. :D
Cause that show has THE BEST cast, THE BEST crew and THE BEST fans!!!
Congrats to the whole cast and crew and a big thank you to all the fans who voted. Relentlessly. Even before Jensen and Jared forwent their pants. :D
Being in Twitter jail was totally worth it. *nods*

Heaven, Hell, Brothers and an Impala
An article about Supernatural was published in The New York Times. Title of the article is Heaven, Hell, Brothers and an Impala and it's written by Ginia Bellafante. LINK
The article is incredibly offensive (mostly to fans) and it's inaccurate. I can't believe somebody actually paid Ginia Bellafante for this. It would've been better if they gave that money to a fact checker.
So I sent Ginia Bellafante an e-mail. This is what I wrote:
Dear Ginia Bellafante,
thank you for insulting fans of Supernatural, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and pretty much everyone who has something to do with the show.
Two hot guys as leads? Then, of course, that must mean that only 15-year-olds (I bet you actually meant 15-year-old girls), who do nothing but ship characters all day long, would watch the show. It's not like Supernatural can offer its shallow viewers anything but eye candy, right? It's not like it has amazing actors, incredible story and can make us laugh and cry and care for the characters.
You mentioned conventions (which, BTW, aren't about fangirling and autographs). Hundreds of fans attend these cons and it would be really difficult to find a fan under the age of 20 there. I'd even dare to say that most fans there are older than me. And I'm Jensen's age. (Since you are obviously an expert when it comes to Supernatural, I'm sure you know how old he is.)
I won't even go into other inaccuracies in the article. I guess your fact checker is on vacation this week.

Con... heh, con ...fession time
First of all, let me make one thing perfectly clear.
I. Love. Supernatural. I do.
I'm a fan since the first minute of first episode. I am a Dean girl since day one. It took me a while to warm up to Sam though, but in my defence, Dean really should have left Rory and Jess alone. Yes, I've been known to hold a grudge. lol But I got over it once I found out more about Jared. Cause he's the nicest guy I kn... don't really know. Sometimes I wish I was more like him. (But I'm more like Jensen, in case you're wondering.)
But as much as I love the show and the characters, I am not actually, y'know, up to date with episodes. Or seasons. I watched only the first four seasons. And yes, I am lying. It's worse than that. *hangs head*
But I do promise to get at least to Swan Song by LAcon. If I get to go to LAcon, that is. *off to dust off and polish my CV*
