Sold out in a day.

Which is good cause I couldn't afford them anyway and now that they're off the table, I can stop feeling guilty for either buying or not buying one.

I was thinking that if by the time I'm done with VegasCon registration they still have some, I might get one. But that was a very big if and a very big might. Luckily, I don't have to worry about it anymore.

First of all, I swear to Castiel, even though some of these photo ops look like somebody took two people from two completely different photos and photoshopped them together (badly, might I add), they are, in fact, NOT photoshopped. Also, Jared and Misha are really not that green in RL.

Oh and, I hate that bloody chair.

Color me disappointed. And possibly slightly ticked off. Why did I even bother with the whole outfit when you can't see the pants? They were quite possibly the most important part of the whole outfit!!! Next time I'll go to the photo op room wearing a nice top, pajama pants and fluffy slippers. Why the hell not?! It's not like anybody will see that.

When it comes to my POs that look like two ppl were photoshopped together, this one's the worst. Jensen's more or less sharp and I'm all blurry and out of focus. Which does wonders for my wrinkles, but still.

This was a good one. :D Too bad you can only see half of it. Anyways, I got there and Jared said: Sitrstand? And I was like: What? Oh! Yeah, it doesn't matter. So he remained seated, turned towards me and hugged the hell out of me. :D I'm pretty sure it took us a few seconds to figure out how to rearrange the legs and I think in the end it worked out quite well, but it's not like I'll ever be able to see that. *shout-out to the photographer*

Speaking of photo ops...

How crazy would it be to buy a flat iron just for JIB?



EDIT (March 21st, 2012):

I don't even like grapes. Really, I don't.

I am not a happy conoholic *coughphotoopwhorecough* right now. I already bought 5 photo ops for JIB and was all set to buy 3 or 4 more. But then I remembered that they have everything (panels, photo ops and autographs) at the same time. So, in other words, if I wanted to get all the photo ops and autographs, I would probably miss every panel. Especially since I have a DP. Yeah, I don't like that.

So, not only am I not going to buy all the photo ops I wanted, but I probably won't even try to get all the autographs. I'll get Jensen's, Jared's and Misha's and that's it. Even though I paid for 8 of them. But hey, at least I won't have to spend any money on stuff for them to autograph.

And I'll save A LOT of money on photo ops. And I really mean a lot. 26% of my paycheck. I guess, it just means more money for VegasCon. So, y'know, whatever.

Allergic to primer

Apparently, I'm allergic to eyelid primer (Too Faced Shadow Insurance lemon drop). And it's the weirdest reaction ever. You can't see anything just by looking at my eyes, but as soon as I put the primer on, I feel like my eyes are closing, my vision becomes blurry and I feel pressure around the eyes. It took me three times to be sure that I really have that reaction and that I'm not just imagining things. *rolleyes*

My eyelids went from normal to oily in the last couple of years. :( I don't wear makeup in real life, so this whole thing wouldn't be such a problem. Normally. However. Cons. Where I actually do wear makeup (because of photo ops). And the pencil eyeliners I had were just no match for my eyelids. When I'm at a con I just don't have time to reapply my makeup every half hour.
I bought liquid eyeliner. Fingers crossed it'll stay on my lids at least 2-3 hrs.

Color me indecisive

LAcon is right around the corner and I still can't decide which photo ops to buy. :(

There are so many pretty photo ops and I want (almost) all of them. But I'm on a budget. Probably. And I already have photo ops with most of those actors so I don't really need more. But I still want them. *sigh*

Creation should offer one or two group photo ops.

Weeping Willow

Imagine how fitting this title would be if my name was actually Willow.

Cause I just realized something. There's no way in hell that I can afford J&J photo op for JIBcon.

And that's a heartbreaking realization.

Mostly because I always get one of those - it's a tradition by now and not getting a J&J photo op just feels... wrong.

But also because... It's a freakin' photo op with Jensen!!! and Jared!!!

60 photo ops and this is the only time Chris zoomed in this much. I feel kinda cheated. I was standing in line (2 ppl in front of me) when I remembered I had my passport and wad of money in the right back pocket of my jeans and that it would be visible in the 'hug photo'. So I had to (really quickly) get everything out of the right pocket and into the left. Not as easy as it sounds. And also, it took me 9 months to lose all that weight and LAcon 2011 was when Chris decided to take a photo of (practically) just my face? Totally unfair. Where was his zoom in Vancouver year and a half ago? And at ChiCon 2009? And LAcon 2010? And VanCon 2010? *pouts* lol

I'm somewhat askew in this one. lol Jared leaned in too much and I kinda lost my balance. I'm not complaining.

Why are there more comments here even though I already wrote about photo ops in But to make a short story long... Part deux? Because, apparently, 1000 words a pic just isn't enough for me. lol So I had to add a few more.

To post or not to post?

My photo ops.

I mean, I'll post them, I always do, but I usually crop myself out. But this time I don't look as unphotogenic as usual so I'm considering leaving the pics as they are. Well, except the one with Misha. Cause that one shouldn't be thrust upon the unsuspecting audience. (However, the hug was worth it. :D)

The things I do for the cons *smh*

I am really, really, really, REALLY liftophobic. (I'm guessing that's not a real word?) I avoid elevators. I really, really do. I mean, even when I go to work* (they're on the 5th floor), I ignore the damn thing. (It's a good thing I go there only once a month, because - 5th floor, ppl! 5th!!)
But every time I go to a convention, I'm riding those elevators like there's no tomorrow. Mostly because I don't really have a choice. I do have to get to my room somehow. But yeah, for those few days, elevators and I are best friends. Well, not really, but you know what I mean.

Not many people know this (well, except everyone who read it on my Twitter and LJ), but I am somewhat of a photo op wh... Wait, what's a google friendly word for wh... Uhm... Hoo... No. Esco...No. For a streetwalker? I know. Photo op lady of the night. (Yeah, it does sound stupid.) Don't get me wrong, I'm unphotogenic as hell, but there's nothing like going to that photo op room, going through hundreds and hundreds of photos hoping that they didn't forget to print mine just to finally find it and see how awful I look in it. Best feeling in the world! Woot!
Well, anyways...
I had to sacrifice 5 photo ops (5!! hmm, I'm seeing a pattern here) to get one. A really expensive one. The one with Jensen, Jared and Jim. I suppose it'll be worth it in the end, but when it comes to photo ops, I'm all about quantity. The more the better! And this is just killing me. I would also like to take this opportunity and apologize to Jim, Mark, Steven, Richard and Misha & Jim. I'm sorry, but I had to do it. I mean, it's one more photo op with Jensen. And Jared. But mostly Jensen. You know how it is... :D *sigh*


* Funny story (that's not really funny at all). My mom's friend used to live in the exact same building where I work now, only she was on the 4th floor. (I even lived there for a few months during the war.) And that bloody elevator is the only elevator I actually got stuck in. So no wonder I refuse to go anywhere near it.
